Cooking - Your RuneScape Strategy Guide

Cooking is a skill that is best raised along with fishing, and while not the most profitable skill, it is certainly worthwhile to level it up (especially if you like to go pking).

~~~~~The quickest way to raise Cooking~~~~~.
This way only works if you have a lot of money.
Level 1-15:
Buy a Small Net (sold in Port Sarim), a Tinder Box (sold in all general stores) and an axe (sold opposite the Lumbridge Graveyard) and head to Draynor Bank.
There are a couple of fishing spots next to the bank. Take your Tinder Box, Small Net and Axe, and use the Small Net on a fishing spot (fishing exp!).
Wait a few seconds and... LIKE OMG A SHRIMP!
Keep fishing shrimp until you have 25. Then go cut down a tree (woodcutting exp!), and light the log you get on fire (firemaking exp!). Then use a shrimp on the fire, right click the shrimp which comes up on the screen and select 'Cook all' and sit and watch it cook.
yAy! Cooking exp!
Dangers - If you're a low level in combat then there's a couple of dark wizards near the fishing spots that can easily kill you. Avoid them at all costs. Remember to watch out for fishing and woodcutting randoms.
Level 15-20:
You said you had a lot of money - heres where you get to spend it.
Buy the best type of fish you can cook in a raw condition. Then guess what, you cook it!
Buy as many fish as you can at a time and then mass-cook them some place near a bank.
The first fish to start off with is trout - you can buy them like everywhere.
If you're a member then head to the forums to buy them. If you're not a member then you can still look on the forums, or find a place where trout are cooked on a populated world and buy them there.
Level 20-25:
Same as before, but buy Pike instead.
They are full of potential cooking exp, just waiting to be released!
Level 25-30:
Now buy Salmon!
Salmon were born to be cooked, by you of course.
Level 30-40:
This time you're buying tuna.
At level 32 you will be able to enter the Cooking Guild, where you will find cooking a lot easier.
Level 40-45:
Buy Lobsters, these things are incredibly easy to buy.
They heal lots too.
Level 45-80:
Buy and cook Swordfish.
These things are pretty hard to buy, and you're going to need a lot of them. You may want to consider getting your fishing up around this point, or to continue buying lobsters.
Level 80-99:
If you're a member, you should now be buying Sharks.
If not, continue using whatever method you used before.
Congratulations, you are the ultimate Chef!
~If you're poor or want to raise your fishing level as you go~
Note: This is NOT a Fishing Guide!!!!!!!!!!!
Fishing Level 1-20:
Buy a Small Net (sold in Port Sarim), a Tinder Box (sold in all general stores) and an axe (sold opposite the Lumbridge Graveyard) and head to Draynor Bank.
There are a couple of fishing spots next to the bank. Take your Tinder Box, Small Net and Axe, and use the Small Net on a fishing spot (fishing exp!).
yAy! Cooking exp!
Dangers - If you're a low level in combat then there's a couple of dark wizards near the fishing spots that can easily kill you. Avoid them at all costs. Remember to watch out for fishing and woodcutting randoms.
Fishing Level 20-40:
Now, fly fish for Trout, cook, repeat. Yay!
Fishing Level 40-60:
Fly fish for Salmon. And yes, you get to cook them as well.
Fishing Level 60-85:
Now go fish for Swordfish. And *gasp* cook them.
Fishing Level 85-99:
If you're a member then catch Sharks. If not, keep catching Swordfish.
good guide. That is if you have alot of money. If not, just buy raw trout till your desired level. Even though that was not a fishing guide, it is very efficient. gimme more pics! be more descriptive! you geta 4/5.
I'm not sure if you guys will want this but I recently purchased this guide from:
guidetomoney
It's actually pretty good. The guide guarantees you 30M in 30 days. I only managed to make 18M in 30 days so it's not that bad. It has some good techniques and isn't one of those scam guides. It also only cost $4.95.
